MOSAIC at Chatham Park developer Kirk Bradley talked about growth, infrastructure and the power of community involvement at a recent 79° West Breakfast Club.
As the President, CEO, and Chairman of Lee-Moore Capital Company, Bradley’s family has been in Chatham County a long time. “It’s an area of the state with a lot of potential that wasn’t always able to maximize that potential,” he says. “But either we’re growing, or we’re dying,” he shares. “That’s one of the reasons I am so involved civically.”
Bradley’s vision for sustainable economic growth has been realized in Pittsboro and beyond; he highlighted thousands of acres of well-designed development supported by expanded water systems, roads and utilities. Bradley also emphasized the role of education and workforce development. Community colleges and school system partnerships in surrounding counties helped the region become a hub for advanced manufacturing and healthcare innovation.
Bradley shared a call-to-action for Breakfast Club attendees. He encouraged participation in community organizations, like the Chatham Chamber of Commerce, the Chatham County EDC, or other nonprofits, and ongoing civic conversations.
“Get involved and make your community a better place,” he says.
