Data’s Impact on Community Building

Kirk Bradley participated on a panel for the 2026 ULI Carolinas Meeting, held March 23–24, 2026, at the Raleigh Convention Center. Over 650 real estate professionals from North and South Carolina attended the annual event.

Bradley spoke for the session entitled, “Connecting the Dots: The Power of Data in Shaping Quality of Life,” addressing how developers and planners use data to inform development decisions. The panel also included Paul Zarian of Hines, and Frank Mundy II of VHB.

Bradley shared how he uses data in pursuit of effective placemaking — specifically for MOSAIC at Chatham Park, a mixed-use community he is developing in Chatham County.

All three panelists were quick to warn that data alone should not drive development decisions. Instead, it is just one tool a developer can access to make important judgement calls throughout property development.
