Lee-Moore Capital is developing MOSAIC, a 44-acre mixed-use community, serving as the gateway to Chatham Park, an 8,500-acre live-work-play-learn community in Pittsboro, NC. 

Chatham Park is becoming more walkable! Though the full one-mile walking and biking trail is still under development, sections of the MOSAIC Greenway, which encircles the campus, are ready for community use during daylight hours.

Guests and residents enjoy fresh air, exercise and dog walks against a backdrop blending nature and community. The greenway also accesses surrounding green spaces, including connection to Wade Barber Park at Northwood Landing, another Lee-Moore Capital development. 

The MOSAIC Greenway will eventually connect to Chatham Park’s walking and biking paths, 30+ miles’ worth upon completion, bridging a network of neighborhoods, parks and natural areas. 

Future connectivity includes nearby Jordan Lake State Recreation Area and the Lower Haw River State Natural Area.

“Our mission is to be a county hub for local government, for-profit enterprise and nonprofit organizations,” says 79°West Co-Director Dustin Miller. In that vein, the hub is home base for the Rotary Club of Pittsboro, Chatham Artists Guild, Chatham County EDC and the Chatham Chamber of Commerce.

Twenty-five private office tenants utilize 79°West, and 67 businesses work in the space. In the past 18 months, the hub hosted 200+ community events and 2,000 private meetings, featured 22 Chatham Artists Guild artists, and provided high-speed internet to 1300 Chatham County residents.

The inaugural 79°West Breakfast Club in August 2024 welcomed 140 attendees and its popularity continues. Other events include Innovate Carolina seminars, the Best of Chatham party, and tenant sessions. 79°West members can take their work on the road with the Coworking Passport Program, which offers members limited access to 10 participating locations in the Carolinas.

The Triangle Business Journal (TBJ) Space Awards named the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Pittsboro the Top Hospitality/Entertainment Development for 2025. It is one of eleven commercial real estate developments in the Triangle market to be honored by the TBJ, with categories ranging from office developments to restaurants to interior design.

MOSAIC welcomed the Hampton Inn & Suites in October 2024 as Chatham County’s first business hotel. The hotel invites guests to enjoy local arts and culture, featuring Mark Hewitt’s pottery on the two-story lobby wall and art from Chatham Arts Council artists in the hallways and rooms. BryantCorp, the family-owned and community-focused developer who built the hotel, is further supporting the hotel’s integration into Chatham with an artist-in-residence program.
