Chatham Park, MOSAIC and Northwood Landing were prominently featured in the “Community Close Up” section showcasing Chatham County in the November issue of Business North Carolina.

The article highlighted the exciting economic development projects happening in Chatham County. Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) helps train the workforce needed for these enterprises to succeed. CCCC recently opened an Industry Skills Training Lab in its E. Eugene Moore Manufacturing and Biotech Solutions Center in Pittsboro.

MOSAIC Developer Kirk Bradley said addressing workforce needs is essential to create a welcoming business environment, and “Chatham is getting its students career ready.” He also said Chatham County’s growth in tourism and MOSAIC’s recent opening of the Hampton Inn & Suites will accommodate Chatham’s growing visitor base.

“Come see it. It’s not your mother’s or father’s Chatham County,” said Bradley. “It’s a different place, and you should see it with your own eyes because it is different and even better than you think.”

Kirk Bradley Receives SAGA Pioneer Award

Sanford Area Growth Alliance honored Lee-Moore Capital Chairman, President and CEO Kirk Bradley with the SAGA Pioneer Award.

The Pioneer Award, SAGA’s highest individual honor, recognizes leaders whose entrepreneurial spirit and community involvement accelerate Central North Carolina’s economic growth. SAGA credited Bradley’s work on the Central Carolina Enterprise Park and the MOSAIC at Chatham Park mixed-use development with bringing hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars of capital to the Sanford region.

In addition to his work with Lee-Moore Capital, Bradley has been a long-time member of SAGA’s leadership team. His commitment to the healthy growth of the Sanford-area community is evident in his investment in youth programs. He chaired the Lee County Education Foundation and encouraged SAGA’s efforts in the RISE Program and Children’s Business Fair. He is also an ardent supporter of the Temple Theatre Company and the Boys and Girls Club of Central NC.

For Bradley, the SAGA Pioneer Award commemorates the importance of nurturing the Sanford-area community from the ground up. His ongoing investment in the economic development of Central NC and the people who make it great certainly haven’t gone unnoticed.
